Tired hotel that does it's best to take as much of your money as possible. Interesting/nice pool area design, especially if you have the pool access room. We stayed in much friendlier hotels on our travels.

Had an absolute brilliant stay at this lovely resort

I would definitely come back. Great relaxing place. Everybody was really friendly! The room with the pool access is just gorgeous!

The hotel staff were great and accommodating. However, the hotel is very outdated and overpriced for what you get. Other hotels on the same street are new, nicer and cheaper. The hotel's breakfast is standard, but the pool is a major plus (I would recommend the pool access rooms). Because of the great staff the hotel has potential to be a great one, but some major renovations need to be taken.

We had a fantastic week at Kata Palm Resort. We were lucky to have a pool access room, with a small private area right next to the pool - no fighting over a spot and plenty of shade to lounge around in (unfortunately the wifi was a bit dodgy outside the room). The pools themselves were very big and well maintained. Although it was peak season the resort never seemed overly crowded. Service was generally good, although some of the employees' English was not as good as it could have been. The room was very clean, and housekeeping did a good job of keeping it that way. Decor-wise, though, it was a bit dated. Breakfast was more than adequate, if the same every day, and the location about ten miutes walk from Kata Beach was great. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and would gladly go back to Kata Palm should we visit Phuket again.
