We got nailed in a Nor’Easter and had to get away for a night since we had no heat and electricity. Had a great getaway. Room was wonderful great location close to Bannister Warf.

One of our favorite hotels always perfect.

The stay would have been great if the maid service was better - they would not re-stock cotton swabs, cotton and lotion in our room, and we kept asking each day - it was the strangest and most frustrating thing. Also, the first night they had this make up remover wipe and it worked great, but they wouldn't re-stock that either. The hotel costs $600/night, so you would think that re-sticking toiletry items would be simple, but it was as if you had to buy them yourself. We even told the asst manager at the front desk and we still didn't get re-stocked during g our 4 days at the hotel! The other not great experience was the spa service - the massage was not worth it and asking for more pressure during the massage turned it to a deep tissue massage, which made it more expensive. I've had deep tissue massages, and that definitely was not a deep tissue massage. Any energy expended from the masseuse was mediocre at best. The other issue we had was the noise from the heater - it was startling each time it came on and we also alerted the front desk but nothing was done to address it. My husband just said to let it go since we can just write a review and maybe then the hotel will recognize that their service was not great. We were somewhat disappointed and will likely stay elsewhere next time - sadly.

Beautiful property, welcoming staff, somewhat limited in room dining, great value in hotel restaurant, bi-level suite was charming
