Large, modern hotel in Poblenou, about 10 minutes walk from the seafront. Limited dining at the property, but a lot of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walking distance. The rooms are well-sized and nicely furnished and the staff are friendly and efficient. Basement parking, which is a little expensive. All in all, I had a good 'hotel experience' there.

The building next door is under construction and therefor it was very loud mo-fr from 8 to 8 p.m

Great hotel in the best place....5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes from the ramblers The staff at the hotel were super especially the restaurant staff. They make supper cocktails and Javier is such a lovely polite man who goes that extra mile. 3rd time there and we will be back.

Nice central hotel with neat furnishings and large tidy rooms. Parking in their garage overnight is €17 but there is several options for street parking nearby. Supermarket and wine bar across the street. Was cheap for a booking the day of, I would come again.

The staff was friendly, helpfull, reception was beautifully decorated. The staff at breakfast in the mornings was most acvomodating, The room was clean everyday Enjoyed our stay

Very welcoming staff in a modernised aesthetically pleasing designed hotel. No major complaints, all issues were resolved with efficiency...Will definitely be back!

It was very comfortable most staff spoke english for a 4* hotel it is very good

Modern, clean, fresh and comfortable hotel in a brilliant area. Rooms are huge , so are the beds, beautiful views of BCN and sunset. Whilst bar and restaurant area looks fantastic the service is poor, it’s very pricey for the quality and hence it’s always empty with no atmosphere which is a huge shame as it could be wonderful. The Only other negative which wouldn’t make a difference to most people but which we have noticed as regular customers is that there is no “welcome back” or acknowledgement to returning guests. We near enough live in hotels and the reason we try to use the same one in each city is for that “coming home” feeling. Most hotels we go to regularly value us as customers. At the Illunion where we have stayed approximately 6 weeks in 5 months in maybe 8 different stays they almost pretend they have no idea you just checked out last week. It’s genuinely verging on rude. We don’t expect a red carpet rolled out but where other hotels will offer you a room upgrade, throw in a breakfast or even just leave a little card or a bottle of wine in the room once in a while which is a tiny touch which costs nothing, this hotel can’t even manage a “Welcome Back” . Just very odd. WiFi very slow.

We stay in this hotel on a regular basis and it’s absolutely fantastic. Huge rooms, clean and super comfortable, we’ve never had a room without a beautiful sunset view in 6 visits. Reception and lobby are perfect for working and relaxing during the day. Bar is a little lacking in atmosphere which is a shame. Very slow service there too. Fantastic location close to tonnes of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. A short walk from the beach too. Couldn’t recommend more.

Locstion was not the best. The seat in the wet room was not at the correct position for me.
