After reporting excessive noise from the room next door around midnight we were surprised and unsettled when the hotel manager knocked on our door accompanied by two officers. Instead of addressing our concern we were told that the guests next door were simply playing cards implying no further action would be taken. This response left us as two women feeling unsafe and dismissed.
It's unclear what the hotel's policy is in situations like this but the handling of the issue did not make us feel supported as guests. I strongly recommend that corporate provide better training for staff on how to address guest concerns with professionalism safety and respect.
Unlike other hotels we've stayed at this location does not appear to have any designated quiet hours something that should be reconsidered. If safety and peace of mind matter to you I’d suggest staying in Wesley Chapel instead. Don’t compromise your comfort here.
