Mildew wet
The rooms smelled like mildew, yes multiple because we switched. The carpet wet, the wood furniture had clearly been in moisture so long that it was warped.

Worst hotel in longview Tx
Maidโs didnโt clean our room, door have issus the door do not open with the card then after they fix it the door knob come loose, restrooms where on a very poor conditionI request a clean up and never happen .

Bad Experience
We were only given 1 key. We were promised a second one and it never came. We requested more towels because we were not given enough for two people and we requested a DO NOT DISTURB sign because we didnโt have one. They were going to bring the items up and they never came. We had to eventually get the towels ourselves. The beds were hard and lumpy which contributed to my momโs back problems and she is a senior citizen. They ran out of breakfast items and the breakfast they had left tasted rushed. The gravy tasted like flour. The juice was watery. The atmosphere felt like they were really cutting back. Checkout time was 11 and someone tried to come on at 10, but I was never given a DO NOT DISTURB sign to go on the door to let them know that I was still in the room.

Need some things fixed! :)
One elevator was broke so took so long to get the elevator to where we were! And it was always packed full!
Rooms were nice but the tv in one room didnโt work at all!

No issues. Historic feel
No complaints. One elevator was out of service, but we didn't mind waiting or taking the stairs. Dark wood panels throughout give historic (rather than modern) feel.

My first experience here was not too good. The room was supposed to be non smoking, but it smelled like smoke and was very stuffy. The entry door lock was off and the door did not close properly. You have to push it hard and the latch barely turns. A major safety concern especially for small children The microwave door was opened and light was on, so when I closed the door it immediately started. So I asked the receptionist if she could get someone to help me unplug it. I would not get any sleep with a light shining through the night.

The staff were excellent, all of them! The facility was subpar. Upon check in there was a note on the counter indicating the pool was closed. There was a note on the door leading to pool and gym to not fully open the door as the door doctor was coming soon. It rained that day and so did our room. The window leaked. The tv remote channel button would only go in one direction. The ice machine on our floor didnโt work. Had to go down to first floor each day to get ice. On our second day, the ac unit started making terrible sounds, pool was still closed. Front desk said a part was ordered. Pool remained close the entire visit and the door doctor never came. This was just a fun girls trip that was dampened by a facility that needs attention.

Was good experience other then ice machine on our floor wasnt working pool was down for maintenance for some of our stay we didnt get to use it wifi was slow you have pay extra for faster wifi breakfast was ok staff was friendly and helpful

The hotel was overall average. Breakfast was good as well as staff preparing breakfast. I reserved a room for 1 night, I booked through Expedia with a pay at the hotel deal. After booking I tried to pay ahead of time but was unable. 1 hour into our 8 hour car ride there, I decided to call and make sure the room was secure. I was informed my card would not run through and that i needed to pay or they would cancel my reservation. I had them attempt the card again and gave them my number to call me in case of any issues. 2 hours later my card was still not charged, I contacted them and was told they were unable to take payments from any cards from certain banks (chime, PayPal, cash app, etc). After scrambling around to figure out other payment and wasting 1-2 hrs of drive time, I was able to pay and secure my room. If I had known ahead of time this would have been easierโnot to mention I was initially supposed to pay upon arrival and not one person on staff contacted me to inform me of any of this. I specifically picked a hotel with a hot tub-it was inoperable. Trash was overflowing in outside trash cans. Not enough towels in our room, empty shampoo bottle, etc. Many mild inconveniences that made the stay unpleasant. Will not book or stay here (or possibly any Hampton) again.
