Friendly staff and a very good, complete breakfast. The location is convenient, close to Rue La Fayette and the metro stations. The room was quite basic, lacking amenities such as a coffee machine or bottled water, though I noticed vending machines downstairs that likely provide some options. Cleaning was somewhat superficial, and the bedding consisted of a very thin blanket and small pillows. Many aspects of the room, including the bathroom, could use updating. On the positive side, the bathroom featured a very nice shower with a strong water flow.

Charming hotel, good value for money

This charming hotel has an older/historic feel to it, but everything is in good condition and working. I stayed there for a business trip, but if I needed to travel to Paris for a holiday with my wife I could consider this one as an inexpensive option.

It was a very lovely place to stay for us Americans. Staff was very friendly and considerate and kind It was a safe location, close to metro,train station back to airport walkabale to main attractions and plenty of cafes stores and shops nearby. Cant wait to return.

Quite, convenient and lovely.

This was the perfect little hotel.Not fancy but the a/c worked great and it was clean! On a nice and quiet side street. Everything we needed was a block away, the metro and bus, a grocery, buolangerie and many cafes. The desk staff was very friendly and spoke great English. In addition we had a breakfast option at the hotel but we did not take advantage of it. We would definitely stay again.

Very friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms. Lovely historic details in intimate foyer and lounge areas. Excellent breakfast. Stayed here 12 years ago and am very glad I returned. (My one small negative is that some carpet needs replacing.)

Hotel Touring in Rue Buffault is highly recommended. I have stayed here several times and keep coming back. The hotel has nice rooms with good bathrooms. The hotel is within walking distance of Gard de Nord. It is quiet and peaceful and is located on a street with no traffic. For a walker like me, the hotel is centrally located - walking distance to most attractions - and if it rains a little, you can just stroll through the Passages down towards the Seine and Notre Dame. The staff takes care of you in the best way both upon arrival and ensures that you have a good and pleasant stay in the city. A good breakfast is served in the breakfast room and in the streets around the hotel you will find cafes and restaurants for every taste and budget.

The gentlemen who all worked the desk, whether it was when I checked in or directions to some place were absolutely WONDERFUL! The room was really cool! Nice bed. Nice view from my window was nice. Plenty of room for just myself! Quiet street. Close to transport. STAY HERE!
