Perfect place to stay in Paris. Wonderful staff, atmosphere and location. Felt well looked after and at home!

This is not a four star hotel. The rooms were small, dingy and not well maintained although they did seem relatively clean. The area around the hotel did not seem safe either.

The rooms where dirty and the whole condition of the hotel was old and not taken care off

Carpet stained quite badly. We were told that the air conditioning would not be in use until the following week, notwithstanding we stayed at the hotel between 15th & 18th June and the temperature was very warm. We were given a fan. The toilet would not flush on our first evening there.initially and the young man in reception came to sort it out. The second evening on our return the toilet was continually flushing. The young man in reception advised that we should keep turning the water on and off in line with our requirements!! Our room was also lacking in storage and coathangers and there was no central light in the room. We were most disappointed as the appearance as you arrive at reception is most favourable, and the staff were most pleasant. Saint-Georges is a very pleasant part of Paris in which to stay but I would not revisit Hotel Arvor.

Staff was very friendly and we were very please overall. Breakfast was pricey for what you received but we found a spot just down the road that served a great breakfast. Our room was quite small by North American standards but we were expecting that. Be prepared for a lot of street noise overnight. This is not uncommon in Paris and so you if you are a light sleeper you should look to get an inside room facing the courtyard. We likely look for this option if we stayed here again. Metro station is just around which was great for us. Also there was a group of cafes just and we are at several of the ones that were clustered together. There are also some higher level restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood as well.
