The Haslett House is a beautiful historical property! We very much enjoyed our stay here. The corner bedroom was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. The owner is a super nice guy and his breakfast is second to none. Overall this is the best B & B that we have ever stayed in.

Incedible Experience

This is an incredible property in a very quaint, historical town and area. The host of the property was wonderful!!! All modern conveniences in a Victorian atmosphere. A wonderful breakfast and very relaxing time! I can hardly wait to revisit!

This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!

The Haslett Hpuse is an absolute gem. This historic house is so steeped in history. Staff is amazing and does everything to make you feel at home, if not part of the family. Breakfast was great and totally made to our order and preferences. The town has a lot of history as well. Any of the few shops and businesses are within easy walking distance. My wife and I stayed here before our visit to Cooperstown. If we are ever in this region of NY again, we will surely stay at Haslett House!

A historic home with a fabulous collection of collections in the parlor, dining room and living room. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and have period furnishings and comfortable bed and sitting area. The stained glass and woodwork in the home is wonderful. We especially loved the seating nook with circular moulding around it- gorgeous. A menu is provided for breakfast ahead of time so guests can choose their options. The gracious host serves breakfast. The exterior of the home is getting a completely new paint job - can’t wait to see the new colors! This is a place to stay for a memorable and comfortable visit with a nod to the 1880’s. Fort Plain has a setting of the early days of Upstate New York and there are several good eateries within walking distance We would definitely revisit this Bed and Breakfast

We joyed our stay at the Haslett Inn! Paul was great host! It was very nice, clean, and quite. Very beautiful house. We had a wonderful breakfast made by Paul. We hope to come back again some day! If you have never stayed here before you should! Thanks Paul forever thing!
