Had an excellent overnight stay, lovely hosts & excellent breakfast. Set in its own private gardens just a couple of minutes walk away from main square, plenty of good Pubs to choose from for eating out or just chilling watching the world go by. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay at Ashfield House. The room was clean, comfortable, peaceful and the lovely little extras were much appreciated. The house is in the village just a short walk from The Devonshire pub. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were very welcoming. Thank you for making our stay a pleasurable one.

Perfect base to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales

Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.

The property was centrally located for the village square but set back enough to be quiet in the evening, the garden was beautiful and highly maintained. The breakfasts were exceptionally good with quality products used. Parking and manovering was a bit tricky but overall an excellent stay .

A friendly and welcoming place to stay

Atmospheric and cosy bed and breakfast, with a good range of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the village. The room was just right for a three night stay, though the softish bed doesn’t suit everyone, and our room was a bit on the small side. One small suggestion - fresh fruit at breakfast perhaps? Other than that, a terrific place to stay for a break in the Dales
