슈가 마리나 리조트 - 노티칼 - 카타 비치

We stayed here back in 2014. Was good to see it was still good. Location was convenient 10 mins walk to Kata Beach. Room was clean and cozy. Staff was warm and friendly. Would stay here again.

Just an average place to stay in the hustle of kata beach. Good VALUE for money. I had a swim out room and sadly the room next to me was being repaired / painted so when I had air conditioning on my room filled with pain fumes. People congregate by the small pool waiting for taxis and day trips smoking. Breakfast was adequate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Short walk to beach. Kata is over run with Russian tourists do stay away as there are much nicer parts to visit.

It's pretty comfortable for it's price. The floors are a little bit oily, presumably from the type of cleaning agent used to clean the floors. Felt like stepping on dried up oil. Sheets were not changed daily and after room makeup, they did not replace the bathroom mat. Apart from those, the room was reasonably clean, and both the room & bathroom was spacious. We were lucky to get a room with a view of Kata Beach and Big Buddha atop the hill but my friends were not as lucky as their room's view was of another private housing facing a dark road with trees so there were mosquitoes. WiFi isn't great but we had unlimited data so it wasn't a problem. Hotel staff were friendly. Overall, not bad for the price.

The location of the hotel is good near of the beach, the buffet breakfast was good but juices too sweet. I requested room service for dinner and next day the dishes and glasses had not been removed.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to two beaches. The areas is also very well served and not as crowded as other areas in Phuket. The only drawback is related to the cleanliness, as it did not meet very high standards. It’s acceptable, but I would have expected more. I have to say that it improved over my stay, as I was more disappointed at the arrival. Overall, it’s a good compromise, as the quality price ratio is ok and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is average.
