You get an e-mail the day before travel with details on how to check in if the reception is not staffed. Alas, I was already traveling at that time, so I was faced with a closed door. But after a couple of text messages everything was resolved. Old building with modern rooms and nice, modern bathrooms. Elevator. Friendly staff, GREAT location close to bars, restaurants, metro; on a very quiet side street in a busy quarter. Recommended

Great location! The bed was comfy and the room was clean. I recommend this hotel for an independent traveler who doesn’t need the support of hotel staff.

Hotel is tucked in an alley on the edge of the les Marais district. It’s a few blocks walk to the busy Place de la République in one direction, and the Centre George Pompidou in the other. The room and bathroom were clean, but extremely small. The elevator felt like a coffin and if you took the spiral stairs instead, the carpet had a strange geometric pattern that made it difficult to tell where one step ended and the next began. Don’t plan on sleeping in, because the hotel is right across the street from an elementary school. I found the kids’ laughter and excitement in the playground charming, but some will find it annoying. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, but there’s no one there after 6pm.

I loved my stay! It was amazing room the service was beyond good. Came to work they even took care of my boxes that were delivered and picked up! Big thank you.

Excellent location, surrounding with restaurants, cafes and shops. The room is spacious and good soundproofed. Full equipment kitchen. I will definitely stay again for my next trip in Paris.
