Fantastic little stay with a lot of facilities below with pub, meeting rooms etc. However very disappointed the WiFi didn't reach the rooms, I was there for work and I needed it. I had to drive to Tamworth to get a strong 5g reception to tether from my mobile. That was a massive frustration.

Did the job.

We stayed as a group of friends for a wedding nearby. This was a great cheap and cheerful place to stay for the weekend - clean rooms with everything we needed. Only slight moan was being woken up by a grumpy housekeeper saying we’d gone past our check out time (not great post wedding hangover!) so check on check in as our booking confirmed 11am, not 10am.

This is my second stay in about 6 weeks. It's a great central location in the town and filled with history. I grew up in Atherstone, so it's a convenient and fairly priced hotel near my family. Staff are friendly and hospitable, bar atmosphere is great and food is terrific. (It may also have the hottest (temperature) meals you'll ever be served!). The rooms could do with some updating, but they are not out of character with the hotel. Shower was a little weak. TV was pretty small, but these are minor things. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will very likely stay again. Atherstone is a lovely historic town if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Central England.

Very nice.

Very pleasant stay in early October, stayed one night. Arrived just as they were about to close the kitchen for the evening which was unfortunate (victim of circumstance), so be aware of that, however a recommended local pub was a very good alternative. Didn't have breakfast booked due to time constraints

We flew from Canada for a 70th Birthday party here. Room was great, breakfast was delicious. Liam our Breakfast server was phenomenal!! He was an attentive and professional with a smile. The Trainee manager Ryan with the lovely hair was a pleasure, as were the two bar tenders Jamie and Nathan. We would not hesitate to book this place again.
