The location served our purpose well, but the place for the price was overall disappointing. Needs a uplift. The bed was fine, but furniture is was more funky than the shots I've seen show. I'd call it Cheap Salvation Army. Needs a paint job, throw out some of the dusty hallway objets, and for god's sake, upgrade the toilet paper! Last time I dealt with anything that thin was in the USSR in the Seventies. That added to the overall depressing feeling of the place. That was the coup de grace or the overall experience. Yet the room (with comfy king bed, I'll grant that) did not feel worth the $358 for night.

It was good hotel. It’s like renting an apartment in nyc. Interesting decor. Room was pretty big for nyc. Right across from peloton studio if you like to spin cycle. The breakfast starts too late@ 8 am. Every other hotel that provides breakfast usually starts at 6am. We had to leave before it started. Overall nice hotel.

This hotel had such high ratings, I wasn’t prepared for the furnishings to be so dated. There is no one at the front desk after 6:00, which felt a little spooky. I had to check out before 8:00, when breakfast is served, so I can’t comment on that.

A beautiful surprise. Charming place. I felt I was a guest in a beautiful, historic home. The breakfast each morning was perfect. Super clean. Historic. The bed was not super comfortable, but I am looking forward to going back. It will likely be my new goto spot in NYC.

Great location on 23rd St. Not a fancy place, but good breakfast, comfortable bed, all the necessities. Convenient to various subway lines. 4 block walk to high line.
