The hotel is lovely, clean, nice views and pool. However, the fact that no one from the FRONT desk to any and every other employee, spoke any English, is so unacceptable. At a lower priced, smaller, mom and pop place or even moderate hotel, I didn't expect to have a high level of communication, but if I've is paying a premium amount for a hotel that is part of a larger chain, the staff should have at least the fluency to communicate with it's guests about basic things that pertain to their tasks. Front desk: she smiled and smiled, but that didn't negate the fact that she could not communicate with me about my request to have my bags brought upstairs when I left for a tour. I had to explain to her that leaving my bags out in the lobby for 5+ hours was not only unsafe but unacceptable. I shouldn't have had to be so frustrated by a very easy and obvious request that was clearly but unique or unusual. That same employee also obliviously (and infuriatingly) smiled as if the fact that she took my departure card out of my passport when I was checking in and kept it in her desk!!! I only noticed this checking out and thought to check (since it's a very small piece of paper that I was worries might get lost); I noticed it was gone and asked to see the photocopies of my passport she made when I checked in. Absolutely amazing. Wonderful hotel. Overlooking beach and more. Food at restaurant was amazing. I would recommend the Mojito be bigger. Way too small.
