클라세리에 샌즈 리버 캠프

This is a magical place from the moment you arrive! Everyone greets you with smile. Great food from chef Steven who accommodated a dietary request (no dairy) to our determined tracker Francois who found the lions for plus many other treasures!

We first arrived to an elephant drinking at the watering hole visible from the pool area - absolutely amazing! There were only two other guests staying at the same time as us, so the game drives were perfectly tailored to the animals we still needed to see. Their tracking and driving (off road often) made the game drives magical! And the effort the team put into finding us a Rhino on our last day was awesome (the last of our big five). We also had some awesomely close (but very safe) encounters with lions, wild dogs, elephants and an awesome view of a leopard. Food is lovely, with the opportunity to say at arrival anything you’d rather not have. Angy was incredibly welcoming and looked after us perfectly - I especially liked the drinks that welcomed us back from evening game drives!

Every so often in life, you stumble upon that special place where you wish would never have to leave.... this is how we felt when we stayed at Klaserie Sands River Camp. The Accommodation luxurious, comfortable and relaxing, and all within touching distance of the surrounding wild Bush! Tastefully designed and decorated throughout, the infinity pool overlooking the waterhole a master stroke. All the staff, without exception, were kind friendly and caring and we feel extremely priviledged to have had the opportunity of spending our 29th wedding anniversary with them all. A special. mention must go to Angie for looking after our every needs, always with a friendly smile, nothing too much trouble. Ellie our game driver and guide and font of knowledge was just outstanding. Her confidence, passion for the animals and our safety in mind, was a real credit to her. Caswell and Juan our trackers enabling us to fulfil our dreams of getting so close to all the animals. Not to forget the Chef who produced such tantalising dishes, that left our tastebuds tingling with excitement at every meal. And of course we couldn't forget the rest of the staff behind the scenes, making up our beds every day and making the rooms cosy upon our return from our drives. Also a big thank you to Lee-Ann and Louis for arranging a special surprise for our anniversary, such a lovely touch. All in all a truly magical experience that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

This place was absolutely amazing. Chef Steven prepares such delicious food, Angi is a gem who is so helpful and welcoming, and Chris and John made every game drive unforgettable. The small size really makes the place special. The room was beautiful (and super clean) and the main area was comfortable and nice to spend time around. Every drive we went on included incredible sightings. We can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is comfortable and stylish and very clean. Most of your time will be spent in the lovely general areas on the deck looking over to a water hole. If elephants visit to drink it is a really special treat. The safari drives are very good and special mention should be made of Chris who is a great ranger. We saw a lovely range of animals close up and with no other trucks around. Soft drinks, coffee and tea as well as water are complimentary but note that only house wines and spirits are included in the inclusive deal. Food is varied from steak, rack of lamb and a braai to 'so so' breakfasts and lunches but service is always warm and helpful.

Everything was fantastic from the warm, inviting and helpful staff to the knowledgeable tracker and informative and fun guides to the very tasteful and comfortable accommodations. They focus on details the way many luxury resorts do while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent. The size of the lodge is great as you get to know the other people but may also have privacy as you desire. We enjoyed that the property had no fences and adjoins Kruger so the animals were in their natural habitat. We were fortunate to have witnessed four of the big five and tracks of the fifth. But really it is the other 35 or so types of creatures we saw that made it such a rich safari experience. I am a picky hotel and restaurant person who stays and eats at many of the finest. This property was an amazing value and a delight. I would return and recommend it to others without hesitation.

Die perfekte Auswahl für eine Eco-friendly Safari experience - wir waren vollauf begeistert sowohl vom Hotel als auch dem Essen, dem unglaublich hilfsbereiten und lieben Staff, die einem wirklich jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablesen, als auch den atemberaubenden Safaris! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!!!! Jeden Cent wert!!!

Os funcionários são muito amáveis e educados, em especial nossa querida Lia! Comida preparada com carinho. Os Safaris, 1 pela manha e outro no período da tarde, foram momentos especiais. Nosso guia Matt se mostrou um perfeito conhecedor dos animais e seus costumes! Casi, nosso tracker, simplesmente perfeito!
