I like how it was your own little cottage everything you need was supplied really. Also close enough but far enough away from town that it was nice.

6/10 Good

We booked our 2 cabins in February when we knew we were going to be going to a wedding. At that time there was very little available for our required dates. Each cabin had a room with a double bed and a double hideabed in the living area. I have to say that being charged for a third person in the one cabin was surprising. Especially given the cost of one night. I understand that summer is very busy, but the cabins are not noise proof, on the highway and are quite dated. We have nothing to complain about with the cleanliness and friendliness of the place. My brother and I and our family just felt the price was quite high for the datedness. The cabins we were given were not the ones in the pictures, when we booked them. It would have been nice to know in advance as we may have chosen to drive further than pay the higher fees. Again, the place was clean, just dated and not as much in the space for the price charged. We were surprised with the extra fees for people and parking that wasn't communicated at the booking. Again, with the price, we would have driven further to avoid those. We felt for the two nights we paid way more than we should have.

Clean and cozy
Cabin was clean and well stocked, they provide outside toys and common areas for gatherings. Friendly staff, only drawback would be right on highway so road noise was loud.

Nice one night stop
Very clean and roomy suite for our family of four. Highway noise was loud outside the cottage but muted inside. Air conditioner was very quiet.

Great people but bad location.
Cute little cabin's. Had everything we needed, owners were nice. Only negative was the location. Literally right on the Trans Canada Hiway so lots of traffic noise. Very dangerous to try and turn into it from either direction. No turning lane and narrow driveway.

The heater was very noisy & kept us awake! The lighting is terrible, there is a sign posted in the bathroom suggesting you keep your shower to 5 minutes, they are on a well system. Not the relaxing time we were looking foreword to!

Very friendly owner!
I was pleasantly surprised how accomadating the owner was. She got me checked in promptly. The room was very clean and well cared for. Having the kitchen in the cottage was a great bonus! The noise from the highway is not bad and can almost not be heard at all when the windows are closed. The room had a working air conditioner and TV. The mattress was a little bit uncomfortable but nothing to complain about! The only upgrade I could think of would be to the towels in the bathroom which were rough. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay and the cottage was above my expectations!!!

Great cozy cottages. They are rustic but cute. The only complaint I thought I'd have was them being next to the highway but as soon as you shut the cottage door all noise is gone.

It smells musty in here...first impression.
After opening the windows and airing the place out it wasn't as bad. Checking in was easy except in a cabin w/2 beds they charge extra each night for linens for the 2nd bed even though the sheets weren't changed for the 2nd night. Kitchen well supplied with tools. Would have appreciated a bit of salt n pepper in with the coffee items. Don't miss BC's Best Fish & Chips in Enderby at Fisherman Direct Seafood.
