Quiet spot removed from bustle. Self contained unit. nice balcony with view of jungle. Monkeys abound. At hotel/restaurant across the street you can see three different kinds of toucans

We booked here but didn't stay here. There are some things you should know - first off, note that you need to contact the property before arriving. We wasted hours trying to call and getting no response. We finally called Hotels.com who assisted in reaching someone after multiple calls (probably cost me $100 in calls.) What the instructions for this apartment check-in should say is that you need to go to the Los Altos Resort on another street to check-in. Breakfast, the pool, gym, restaurant, etc. are also at Los Altos Resort, not at the apartment or even on the same street. It was raining very hard when we arrived so the outside of the Jungle Vista Inn was surely more ominous that it might have been. And it's actually in a building that had a sign for another hotel. Confusing and unsettling. We didn't even look at the apartment so I can't really comment on it. However, after learning all this, we ended up staying at the Los Altos Resort & Spa, which was amazing, to say the least. The staff was very accommodating.
