All great . Very nice pool and beach room was huge size with nice bathroom.

First of all let me say the staff were very good and the food was also excellent. But the resort looked messy. Firstly, there was too much furniture everywhere. If a restaurant is only open once a week like the Thai market on Saturdays, the dining furniture etc should not be left out for the duration of the week like an eyesore. Secondly, the beach area. The towels were small and discolored, as were the sun-lounger mattress'. After only being open a year this is not acceptable. If you go to any of the One and Only hotels, Four Seasons, or other hotels you maybe trying to compete with, they will lay out your towel on your lounger and also use a rolled towel as a pillow. They will consistently come round with fresh water, fruit, sun-glass cleaning, even short complimentary massages! All of this was lacking. Furthermore, I was also horrified to see that you had installed a gigantic TV screen in the pool, what a carbuncle! At night the said screen played the promotional video of the resort on a loop unnecessarily, completely blinding you from the idyllic view. Also not a very good idea to show the promotional video where the resort looks perfect whilst you look around at the reality... Finally the the white hexagonal tent on the beach looks terrible, why would you place it right in the middle of the beach area ruining the effect of the lovely Thai wooded structure behind. The idea of a private space to enjoy the beach maybe a good one but the execution is a disaster.

Absolutely faultless. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ritz-Carlton in the beautiful setting in Koh Samui. Phenomenal service.

Great stay. Hotel was decent enough. Spa was fully booked, transport to town was fully booked however for the transport the guest services were incredibly accommodating arranging transport for us. Breakfast spread is brilliant, plenty of superb options Staff try really hard to make the stay pleasant Not too much around, you have to get a car out everywhere you go. But the hotel makes it hard to leave!
