7Q 방라 호텔

2월 중국 명절기간에 가서 그런지 숙박 예약이 엄청 어려웠습니다. 그래서 겨우 예약을 하고 갔는데 위치는 최고입니다. 그리고 방의 크기도 괜찮아요. 하지만 너무 오래되어 시설이 좋지 않아요~ 열쇠도 옛날식 금고도 옛날 금고입니다 ㅠㅠ 하지만 제일 좋지 않은건 서비스였습니다. 패밀리룸을 예약했음에도 불구하고 수건은 딱 2장, 바꿔달라고 했더니 방앞에서 따지시더라구요;;; 왜 더달라고 하냐길래 물놀이하고 와서 샤워를 2번이나 해서 그렇다..... 못준다고 하더군요 ㅠ 그래서 패밀리룸이면 3장 정도 줘야하는거 아니냐, 침대는 더블에 엑스트라 베드 더 붙여주셨는데 너무 수건이 부족하다 했더니 다음부터 더 달라고 하지말라고 하고 가네요 ;;; 또 물이 따뜻하다가 갑자기 엄청 뜨거운 물이 나오다가 갑자기 차갑다가 또 엄청 뜨거운 물이 반복하여 나옵니다 ㅠ 그래서 살이 빨갛게 익었더라구요 ㅠㅠ 위치는 아주좋으나 서비스나 시설 측면에서는 개선이 필요합니다.

빠당비치나 쇼핑센타 야시장 모두 가까운 위치여서 좋았고 옆에 복싱경기장이 있어서 좀 시끄러웠읍니다. 조식은 하루 이틀은 괜찮은데 여러날 있기에는 많이 아쉬웠읍니다

I stayed in this hotel for 20 days. Half in room 111, and half in room 527. Lets be clear, the hotel is 10/10 for what it is supposed to be a 3 star budget hotel. Rooms were clean and were daily cleaned, the pool was small but lovely and the service was great. Before booking i was told that WIFI is good enough in order to work from my laptop, which was true. I was also told that as i am travelling alone, if i got a guest there would be no extra charges, which was also true. During my second week i faced some issues with the AC and when the issues could not be fixed i was moved to a new room right away. Of course, room 527 (5th floor) was obviously better than 111 (ground floor). First floor rooms do not have any balcony or view. I am not sure if room in higher floors are more expensive but i would suggest to try and book those. The only negative thing that i can say for this hotel, and i can't really blame the hotel, is that while staying at ground floor, guests were really loud in the reception area at all times of day and night. I would expect a hotel employee to advise the guests to be more quiet especially during the night. All in all, if I am able to find the same budget price, i will be definitely staying in this hotel again. Finally i would like to point out that the hotel is located in a very local place. Bangla boxing stadium and more than 20 bars are all around so you should expect it to be noisy. I don't count this as negative as this is what I booked.

Nice location, good price

Easy check in with passports required. Big lobby with breakfast area nearby. Although breakfast was only 150 baht I never saw any one eating so cannot comment on the food. It appeared to be a buffet but limited in types of food available. I paid the required 1000 baht deposit and no problems on leaving. The reception staff were friendly. Situated on the end of soi sans sabai it is very convenient for the local food market and the Bangla road nightlife. Central department store and Jungceylon are close by. 10 minute walk to the beach. You will not need the rip off tuk tuks. The airport bus is only 170 baht. Catch it at beach road police station..but beware..when I took the 2pm bus it left 11 minutes early leaving those left behind at the mercy of the taxi guys
