Very special place
Poppies was absolutely beautiful. The staff are awesome, James the manager is outstanding, and it's a little beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy part of the island.

Black mouldy bathroom.(see photos) Wooden floor boards splintering in room. Mosquitoes encouraged by outside water butts, Would not stay here again unless hotel spent money and updated bathrooms in particular and other areas.

Wonderful stay at Poppies
Wonderful experience at Poppies. The hospitality was incredible They gave a great recommendation for a spa. They sheltered and protected us from Pabuk. The restaurant was delicious! The property is very zen-like. I loved walking through the trees and the ponds. I didn't love Samui (we came from Tao) but our time at Poppies was just lovely.
