Hotel in a fab location. Inside amazing. Had to wait a while to check in and out. Also had a lengthy wait after ordering pancakes. Rooms nothing special for the price though. Doesn’t look any different than a premier inn. Couldn’t fault the location or the entrance/foyer of the hotel. Hard Rock at its best.

Apart from being refused to be served after coming back from winter wonderland because they stopped serving people at 10pm, (then got the manager and he re opened it) and then being told the next morning after id already paid £260 for 1 night that apparently they lost my card details and i had to pay again. (Dont think so, proved i paid by opening my bank account) So i guess its an ok hotel. Wouldnt stay again service wasnt good.

Disappointing. Check in was helpful and allowed us access to one of the two rooms when we arrived early. Room was comfortable and clean but nothing special. On the evening tried to order food, were told had six staff off so could not serve food and cocktails at the bar and no tables were available, although unoccupied, in the cafe. We’re advised to order room service if we wanted to eat. After speaking to manager did get table and food and service were okay. Ordered drinks later at bar, served doubles when not ordered, then when questioned the price (£26.50 plus 12.5% service charge for two gin and tonics) was told “it’s London mate!” Bar then promptly called last orders at 11.30pm. It was then suggested if we wanted another drink we could order room service (again!). Breakfast selection was good, but not so great if you had been caught in the huge queue. Trip had been booked for 5 months, rather a let down. Not much ‘rock ‘n’ roll’!!

Our stay was great. The staff was friendly. The hotel’s location is at the heart of London at the main shopping street
