So medieval and felt transported back in time! Buildings and architecture are so cool. 4 stars instead of 5 because there's not a ton to do besides museums and admiring the buildings, but that makes it perfect for a day trip! Must try Moules Frites!

We took a boat trip (the one leaving from near the fish market), which was a good way to see the buildings from a different perspective and learn about their history. A carriage ride is also great - the one out to the windmills is lovely and quiet.

We visited Bruges for the Christmas markets. It's great for couples or families and very easy to get around. It's not the cheapest place to go but the beers are so strong that you won't be buying many anyway! Belfry and boat tours are a must

Bruges is great, except for the tourists. By noon each day the central area was saturated with tourists. I often planned each day to get out and about to see the sights by 9:00 a.m. Nobody around at that time of morning. My trip was in August.

Bruges is very enjoyable, with brilliant galleries and museums, good bars and great restaurants. It's expensive, and we were surprised that most of the shops were closed on Sunday, but overall it's a great place to spend three or four days

Brugge was spotless no litter a very safe friendly place the people were very welcoming Plenty of places to eat and drink The touristy bits were all accessible by walking Comfortably shoes a must as all roads and pavements are cobbled

I LOVED Bruges! It's a stunning city like right out of a story book. It's by far one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Every inch is picturesque. Loved the food and all the shops as well as the Christmas markets.

Loved Bruges, so pretty. Easy walkable. Loads to see and do. Especially loved the canal trip, folklore museum, sculpture museum, belfry tower. The shops were fab. Enjoyed restaurants, old chocolate house and frites/beer.

It's like walking in the heart of a sculpture garden made up of engagingly beautiful old buildings. As full of tourists this city might be, that doesn't distract from the feel of being in an ancient European city.

Beautiful city easy to walk around (make sure it's flat shoes due to the cobbles!) wonderful Medieval buildings and if you climb to the tower it's worth it but a very spiral staircase awaits you and 300+ steps
"This hotel was one the best, gorgeous decor when you enter. Receptionists helpful. Room was very spacious. Bathroom clean but could do with an overhead more modern shower to go with the modern room. We couldn't get the air con working but this was fixed.
Breakfast was vast - every dish you could want, fry up, cereals, pancakes, breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurts, fresh fruit.
If we went to Bruges again we would stop there without any hesitation"
"Probably sixth or seventh time of staying at this hotel. Very convenient for town center with enough facilities for most stays. One problem, i always book careful to mention my mobility problems so no stairs, long walks or high floors. Unfortunately these conditions had not been met this time and, after inspecting the room initially offered, we caused problems by having to request an alternate room.
Never mind, they sorted problem in the end1"

"The hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had a bath and a shower in the room. The shower was very nice - the cubicle itself was a bit small but overall the room had everything you need. The hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring Bruges. We were able to charge the car in the underground car park of the hotel which was a big perk for us.
I would say it can be a bit tricky to find the hotel. We arrived in the early hours of the morning due to a delayed ferry, and it was quite hard to find the reception and the underground car park.
Overall this is a fantastic place to stay when in Bruges. We cannot fault the rooms, the location or the staff, everything was fantastic!"
