Brussels is a lovely city I felt very safe walking around on my own with my 2 children. Plenty of places to eat and everywhere was walkable but had a fantastic public transport system. The architecture is stunning and plenty to keep kids entertained.

Brussels always strikes me as a city of contrasts - the architecture, terrain, people and sights. Places like Grand Place are deserving of their reputation. The surprising thing about the city, for me, are the hills. It is definitely worth a visit.

Such a beautiful city center, fantastic architecture and clean and well kept. People are very helpful and friendly and easy to speak to with sometimes broken English and my broken French managing to understand each other. Planning to come back.

You need only half a day to see the main attractions in Brussels. Stay longer only if you plan a day trip to Bruges . . . highly recommended. Also, hotels right next to main square are extremely expensive, not a good value and not recommended.

We enjoy the museums and culture of Brussels. It's truly a world-class city with a lot to offer. If you think Brussels is just the EU, government, NATO, etc - then look again. There are so many positive aspects to this under-rated metropolis.

Chocolates and Belgium Fries. Not French fries. A better variety. Lots of chocolate stores have samples of various types....don't be shy. Another treat is called cuberdon...only available in Belgium. Many flavours and worth trying.

For a short trip, we were there mainly to experience European Christmas market. Love the whole programme that dotted around the old town and friendly locals. We also went to mini-europe and Atomium. Atomium is highlly recommended.

Lovely historic city with wonderful historic architectures around the city centre (e.g. the Grand Place area). Only downside at present is that there is a lot of regeneration underway, so some areas not as attractive.

Grand place is a must see to have an impression of Medieval times and ideally to visit around 5 in the evening to have the best of both worlds - day and lit up at the night. A sight to remember.

A 15 minute walk gets you into the Grand Place - which is incredible and not to be missed - looks stunning at night too. Lots of places to eat and drink, definitely go to the Atomium !
"Hotel situé très proche de la Grand Place ainsi que la Gare Bruxelle-Central, dans un cartier animé de matin au soir. Emplacement ideal pour visiter les objectifs touristiques.
Personnelles très aimable et serviable. Chambre très propre et lit confortable."
"Room was amazing! Had all the amenities, even provided an iron on request. Staff were very lovely and welcoming. Had no issues at all! Breakfast was great and the rooftop terrace was nice. I would definitely come back here again "
"Wonderfully clean rooms, friendly staff and easy walk to Bruxelles Central train station and Grand Place. The perfect hotel for a tourist stay in Brussels!"
"I've stated at The Hoxton before and love it. The vibe when you enter is super chill and makes you feel like you've stepped into a chic hotel in the 1970s. The rooftop bar is great as is the restaurant on the firat floor. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower is weak...not ideal, but not a deal breaker. "
