It was the worst experience! My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to relax. On Saturday, August 31st, we arrived at 5:00 pm. When we checked in, they told us they did not have the room we booked, and that they had no more rooms because they were sold out, but that they would give us the room we booked the next day. I asked them why they would not honor the reservation, and they told me that I booked through Expedia and not directly with them.
The room they gave us for that night was terrible, room 910. I had to ask for the sheets to be changed. It had mold all over it. The light fixture, ceiling, and floor had mold all over it. The stove was dirty. The smell was terrible. I spoke to the front desk, and they said there was nothing they could do, we could just cancel and go somewhere else (very rude). We couldn't find anywhere to go. Memorial weekend! We had to stay in that room. We went out to eat and came back at 10:00 pm to sleep, but we couldn't stand the smell of the room and had to stay around the hotel until we got tired and went to sleep around 1 in that dirty room. The next day they gave us the room we booked around 3:00 pm. We moved again and tried to get organized. And the day was gone. We couldn't enjoy the weekend or celebrate our anniversary. The weekend was a disaster. I have pictures where you can see how the mold and dirt in the room were everywhere, but it won't let me attach them here. I want my money back!
