Beautiful hotel which was perfect for our honeymoon. The attention to detail, tips, quality of food and amenities, and luxurious decor were perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and a special shoutout to chef Suresh, waiting staff Manish and Aye who took extra care to look after us on our tete-a-tete one year anniversary dinner, Seyshima and breakfast. Another special shoutout to pool staff Santhian and Jerry who helped us with everything pool and beach-related.
I have written a seperate review for Seyshima so I’ll write about the tete-a-tete, Trader Vic’s (cool fusion restaurant with live music), Eden, and Vasco’s (buffet restaurant) over here.
Tete-a-tete: all four courses were served perfectly cooked with the texture appropriate for the cuisine as well as the produce used. The food items were cooked to the right standard fitting for a special occasion. Manish was a great camera man for us as well, getting all the right photos in too. For the price, this is certainly worth it for the right occasion.
Trader Vic’s: The atmosphere matched the drinks and the food in terms of the best of qualities. Again, the waiting staff were generous with wanting us to have the best experience. The live musician had all the couples up cha-chaing between drinking. Perfect for all couples/groups.
Eden: Another great restaurant by the pool which serves up their more luxurious food. The waiting staff was proactive and made sure we were recommended food to our preference.
Vasco’s: Great
