The room was standard and small in size; dental kits were not provided, but they are available for sale. Tried to request a late checkout; however, for any late checkout, it's $15 per hour. The location is close to Chinatown, the bus stop, and the Glink station, but it is not close enough to the city area. Overall, it is small and convenient, better suited for business trips; however, every extra is priced.

Woodcroffe never disappoints for short stay overs
Good location & price, bed & pillow not very comfortable but the shower was worse with the bathroom being so small & it didn't have a curtain or glass doors that shut Fully. But stayed here before in nicer rooms but all good for 1 night stay. Would recommend at short notice too & the staff are 100% accommodating & nice /welcoming so I want people to know overall it's easy to book & stay here night to night as it's possibly set out for than long stays?

A Hidden Jewel
The foyer of the Woodroffe is very welcoming, and the overall look and feel is very clean, neat, and well presented. Our room was clean and well appointed, and the beds very comfortable. There were road works being undertaken right outside our window, but that is beyond the control of the Woodroffe and a closed window-blind minimised any intrusion. The downside of our stay was the lack of hotel parking. We arrived at 2pm (check in time) and already the parking was booked out. The Hotel.Com booking site mentioned parking was available, but not the limited amount, 'first in first served'. In fairness, The Woodroffe's own website does clearly state limited parking - we were able to access open air parking not too far away. There is a light rail tram station within an easy walk, which is convenient for access to shopping and activities along the Gold Coast.

Close walk to the tram. The room was small and the floor and bed sheets had stains on them (not very clean..). We booked a kind bed but it was two singles pushed together, and one bed was higher than the other.. so that was very uncomfortable. I probably wouldn’t stay here again but if you’re needing a bed for the night it’ll do.

Terrible Rude customer service
We have booked the accommodation same day morning. Infact I have a call to make sure everything is ok. I have been told we have to folllow after hrs protocol and explained. No one told me to book the parking. When I go there after hrs there were no street parking available. After hour service staff are absolutely rude. When I told them I have not been informed about the after hours, she cut off the line even without opening the door for me to enter. Then I rang them again. After 3-5 min of holding time another staff member picked up the phone and asked my name extremely loud noise (not wanted to hear anything from me) and opens the door and cut off the line. I went inside and got my key card from the safe. We booked a room with 3 beds. We got 1 key card. We had someone sick, who has to sleep straight away. Because we could not get parking near by, we had walk back few times to the car leaving the sick person in a warm room with no lights as we had only 1 card for the room power and entry for 3 customers. Terrible after hour service.
