Great location, but won’t stay again.
Although an amazing location, the walls were extremely thin, and you could hear everything that was going on in the adjacent room. Additionally, the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Good value but rooms have no sound proofing.
Location is excellent, staff friendly, the room was a bit dated but fine for what we needed. The only issue was the noise. You could clearly hear conversations in the next rooms, people up at 5.30am talking and laughing which woke us up, and we are very sound sleepers.

Don’t pay for beach proximity. Pay for quality.
This place is SO underwhelming. Don’t pay for proximity to the beach. Stay a little further from the beach and get a decent room.
1. Check in took forever because the computer kept crashing. Not the fault of the staff but not okay either.
2. The whole building is so tired. See photo.
3. No hot water in the morning. I waited and waited. Finally after running the water for 15 minutes and a call to the front desk, I got hot water.
4. SO LOUD. It’s Miami Beach you say. Yes, this is true but the walls are paper thin. I listened to my sleepless neighbor watching infomercials until 4:30 am. It’s not partying. It’s just bad construction.
5. There’s a coffee maker in the room. Yay! Too bad you only get free tea pods.
6. The bathroom doesn’t even have a shelf or counter for storing your toiletries. I had to keep mine in the windowsill. The windows are filthy btw.
7. Hotel requires key to access building 24/7. The catch: the pad doesn’t work so you need to be buzzed in every time.
8. Oh, the hotel is not physically attached to the Clevelander at all. You have to walk down the street to get access to the pool and restaurant etc.

Dated but large rooms. This location was amazing. The hot water had an issue finding its way to our shower… good bed, decent croissants and great coffee…
The internet was spotty but we still got our work done. 4 stars

Short stay, great location, historic
It was cool to stay in a historic hotel. Pretty outdated but that’s to be expected. I liked that we could open the windows. The staff was very friendly. We had to stay an extra day because our cruise was delayed a day due to the hurricane. It fit the needs of our family. I would definitely stay here again!

Rooms had no refrigerator or microwave. The smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Room was small and located by the busy street all I heard was traffic and loud music. Phone in room didn’t work and ice machine was out of order. Had to go to the front desk to ask for ice after waiting for an hour for someone to bring me ice I used my phone to call the hotel because the phone in the room didn’t work. They said someone was coming and if I didn’t receive it and 5 five minutes to call back of course they didn’t come I waited 12 minutes and I called back they stated someone is coming 10 minutes later someone finally comes with ice. Not to forget the elevator is raggedy.
