Lovely stay, with unexpected extras, like the sloe gin sample in the room, coffee machine & kettle, pillow mist & lovely toiletries - some really lovely touches - room styling was very bespoke, with quality décor, styling & was very well presented.
Service levels do need improvement however, with the need for additional hospitality staff training & attentiveness, whilst not forgetting previous table service requests - the restaurant was only 1/3 full, but the staff looked very overrun.
I thought menu choices for dinner were good and the pricing was fair.
Our orders/requests for water/ drinks though, were forgotten about at least 3 times. The waitress commented to us that I would need to go to the bar to get my drink as they were exceptionally busy, whilst I waited the 8-9 minutes at the bar, my food had already been brought to the table, so when I returned is wasn't very hot..
Breakfast choices were good, although the 3 times I went for juice/glass, there were none avail & no fruit juice & wasn't replenished during the sitting.
I would love to return again, but some little disappointments - which could easily be improved on, without too much effort. Thank you.
