Understated, stylist and relaxed
This is a understated, stylish hotel that is very relaxed and friendly. The rooms were a good size with tea and coffee making, iron and ironing board and safe. King sized bed was very comfortable. Very good location but parking is a multi-storey along the street. I’m not that fussy, but I did think breakfast was disappointing … tried all the (limited) options during my stay but most were overlooked or dry. There’s plenty of better options near by which I’ll choose for my next stay there.

Wanted to stay longer!
My partner and I stayed at the House Hotel in Galway for a short mid week break in February. We were impressed by the hotel, the staff, our room and the standard were all high. The Breakfast included in the room rate was lovely and the waiters and waitresses polite and professional. The hotel was in an excellent location for exploring Galway City and we were only sorry we hadnt booked for longer!

Excellent modern hotel
The hotel is located only a couple of minutes walk from the city centre, and is one of the funkiest hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are well equipped, ultra modern and very very comfortable. Top class hotel which I'll definitely use again in the future.

Only stay here for one night, service was top notch, and the location is brilliant for the bars, nightlife & shopping that Galway city has to offer. Will difintely return in the future

Brennan's Yard has had a make-over
Brennan's Yard Hotel has had a make-over and is now called The House Hotel. The public area is bright and glassy, and my room was comfortable. It was epitomised by the internet-linked TV (which I managed to work) playing quiet music when I arrived. The bathroom was set up for disabled access with a tiny basin with no plug and low mirror. I had to kneel to see my face in it when I shaved. Never mind, the full Irish breakfast that followed kept me going until the evening.
