Good but small
The bed was nice, the room was nice though a little high for my duration by cost on average, the breakfast and lunches at the lobby restaurants are good but small, the pool is smaller then images suggest though i mostly used the hot tub anyway. A good enough experience to get a higher mark but not an excellent stay

Was not happy with this stay. The entrance is very nice and updated but the rooms are very worn and need repairs. First room we got smelled of mildew (even with the air off and window open). Got a new room only for it to smell like mildew and a heavy spray of air freshener. Which they assumed would cover the smell before we entered the new room. Beds were so worn that we would roll into each other, rusted bathroom fixtures, stained mildew tile grout, water damaged framing & baseboards. Bathroom door was tight we had to struggle to open and close it. Sink was plugged and dripping from the tap. All furniture was visibly worn. Woke up in the morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Definitely a place the is not on par with Hilton hotels.
-positives were friendly staff and the lounge had amazing food.
Save yourself the hassle, pay a little extra for comfort at another location.

The air conditioners need to be adjustable to a colder temp when itโs 30 degrees outside we should be able to turn the a/c down to less then 18.5

Excellent service and clean, quiet rooms
I stayed at this hotel unexpectedly due to a family emergency, drawn by its proximity to Misericordia Hospital. When manager Subin learned of my situation, he kindly offered ways to reduce my nightly rate and included breakfast in the package. The staff checked in on me regularly and made several schedule adjustments so I could remain in the same room throughout my stay.
The room was exceptionally clean and quiet, and the breakfastโserved at your tableโwas a lovely surprise. Yes, some of the decor is a little dated, but the hotel is comfortable, well-kept, and staffed by genuinely caring people who go above and beyond.
Five stars, without hesitation. Thank you, Subin and team.

Bed Was Terrible - Left Tired and Sore
We stayed in a suite. It was average. Aging, but clean. Unfortunately, we didnโt get much sleep as the bed was super uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a hard, stone slab table. It felt like you were sleeping directly on a box spring - you could feel every spring. The bed is the most important part of the room. I am paying for a place to sleep. Instead I had a restless night that left my body tired and hurting.

We had a King bed with only 3 pillows, did call down for more but there should have been more. The most irrating thing was the wifi, there was little to no service which was frustrating as I did have a few business things i had to attend to. However the staff was very good and helpful

Cold first impression of a hotel new to me.
Just a one night personal visit to Edmonton. First time at this hotel. Checked in at 9PM. Room COLD, so I turned AirCon to 25C and went for a walk.20 min later, room had not warmed up-called front desk. 5 min a worker arrived, adjusted A/C which worked for about 45 min. My wife went to bed. A/C shifted back to refrigeration and I called desk again. Worker had gone home. They had to move us to a different room after 11PM. Not a restful night. Poor maintenance and a poor first impression.
