Meh.
I’ll start by saying I booked the cheapest room I could find. Did I have hot water, clean towels, a microwave and a fridge? Yes! Did I also have a used washcloth left in the shower, grime, sticky floors, a poopy toilet bowl and a courtyard full of debris? Yes! The room smelled so strongly of cheap cleaner that I slept with the window open on a cold November night just so I could breathe. It’s obvious that they clean because I can smell overwhelming cleaner, but the place was super grimy. The halls were cluttered with decommissioned furniture, vacuum cleaners, etc. like. . . . these items weren’t in use, they were just chillin in walkways. Bizarre! I am certain the hotel will copy and paste me a generic response, and that’s ok! I still say book the place. It’s got a bed. It’s got hot water. It’s a place to charge your phone. Put the money you save into your gas fund and get back on the road in the morning.
Months worth of grime in the bathroom corner.

Skip this stay
I'm not sure I've felt this uncomfortable, but I was exhausted so I kept the reservation. They are not caring for this hotel. I've stayed at dozens of Motel 6s, and found them to be clean, safe and reliable. That was not the case this time.

The worst motel property in 50 years of traveling
The wife and I have been using Motel 6 for our driving trip from Michigan to California. This property by far is the worst we have ever encountered. Why such a low rating: 1. The exterior door to the parking lot was missing. 2. A tremendous amount of deferred maintenance. 3. I choose pay at hotel during the reservation process; found out the property had already charged for the night prior to check-in. 4. The original room assigned was not cleaned, the bed was unmade and the room door was difficult to open. 5. The next room had no security lock or door closer. 6. The air conditioner was leaking water on the floor. 7. The corner sofa nearly collapsed whe an attempt was made to use it. 8. Towels and cups were missing from the room. 9. The television could not receive a signal. After driving from Laramie WY to York NE on the day of Check-in, we were tired and were expecting room for resting. We spent the night, but will never utilizes this property again. As a matter of fact will most likely not use Motel 6 again.

This place is horrible! Run down, dirty and unsafe! There were missing doors into the property so anything and anyone could walk in including the road we saw on our way out! Bugs and mold.The air didn’t work at all and was terribly noisy! The Motel 6 franchise should be ashamed of this place! Thanks to this place I will never book at another Motel 6 EVER again!!

Nothing in the room. No charging adapters for electronic devices. 2 1/2 size pillows on the bed. The clerk spoke poor English, hard to understand.

If I could give zero stars, I would. In fact, I feel like I'm OWED stars. Property as a whole is rundown. Front entry is plain, minimal seating/waiting area. Side entrance was straight up missing the door. Since May, from what I understand! Anyone can just walk in. Carpets in the hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed ever. Ice machine out of order. Trash cans overflowing. The room itself was ok. Updates have been attempted. Minimalist. There was a random 2x4 on the floor under the ac unit. It was covering a giant area of water damage. Won't be returning.

I honestly saw the other reviews and thought maybe they could have addressed the concerns. But I stayed there over a week ago and the first thing was the place looked old and worn from the outside. Okay not a problem as long as it is clean and secure for a night sleep. I was disappointed the moment I walked in and I looked down the hallway from the checkin desk and could see the side door wide open. I asked if that door is shut to give security but was answered with no it is always open because it is broken from a storm. It didn’t seem like the storm happened recently. All throughout the halls was dirty things and then I got to the room. The door key did not work right away I even thought I might have to shove the door to open. After multiple tries it open. The room was not horrible. I didn’t think the shower was clean so I didn’t use it but the bed and sheets were clean that I could sleep in the room. There was no strong odors. I would not stay a second time.

Room was basic room just passing through for Sturgis, that being said there was hole in drywall where door handle had smashed through at some point(no dust on carpet so it's been vacuumed at some point) the bathroom light switch was broken off in the on position. Like I said I just needed a place to stop recharge and go, I would probably stay there again next year for the price.
