We came to Brentwood for a wedding. The staff was polite but not very helpful. Anytime I had a question or issue, I was told I’d need to wait for the manager—yet the manager was never available. This was during the week, not a weekend, so it made little sense that no manager was on duty.
The pool spa was taped off with caution tape, but when I asked about it, I was told “it worked.” It did not. We also needed extra blankets and pillows for our kids, but the room phone didn’t work, so I had to go downstairs myself and carry everything back up.
Our toilet repeatedly clogged, and with no one at the front desk, we had to walk around the property to find help. A housekeeper eventually gave us a plunger, but the problem was larger than that—the toilet’s internal parts were broken and needed replacement.
The worst part was on our last night. We opened a washcloth and found a bed bug inside. I am 100% certain it was a bed bug, as I’m well-versed in this area through my work as a property manager. When I brought it to the front desk, I was again told nothing could be done because the manager wasn’t there.
Overall, the lack of management, unresolved maintenance issues, and the discovery of a bed bug made this a terrible experience. I cannot recommend staying here.
