Me hubiera gustado saberlo antes.

The hotel has a unique vibe... the old meets new, and very wonky floors! The beds were rock hard, but linens were pristine white.

This is a decent, well located budget hotel in the Centro Historico area of Mexico City. The elevator is tiny, but functional. The room was very clean and quite comfortable. As can happen, people were yelling and knocking on doors at all hours, but this is not the hotel's fault. They have charged my credit card for an additional night, so I hope they will respond to my email and correct this.

Over all it was very good night we had. Only very minor things that, one the window lock did not work. It was second floor and right above covered parking lot so did not thing easy to climb but still feel a little unsafe. Second, there is some sort of safety light function that when people go to the wash room one light automatically turn up, but there is wiring is wrong and another light the other side of the room turn up as well. if you are staying one would OK but if you stay with other little annoyed. Third, the wash room's flush nob is a little tight, so some time after your flush, the nob stack and water kept going. Other than that, the staff was friendly room is clean.

Fine
I arrived late and left early, so I'm not sure about the location. The room had a funny smell. People were friendly and helpful, although when I arrived at the airport the taxi driver insisted I pay him even though when I booked the room it said there was an airport shuttle.

Nice hotel a few blocks from Bellas Artes.
Nine blocks from Bellas Artes and a few blocks from Chinatown. There are several cafes and places to eat. Clean rooms and a very quiet neighborhood during the night. Walking distance to the Ciudadela Market and Ciudadela Park. In this park locals, mostly older couples, gather to dance danzon.

The Good Spotless everywhere. Great secure parking and entry to hotel from garage. Quiet The Bad No internet and little indication that they cared or try to resolve. No heat or air conditioning in room. On check in it is like they never heard of Expedia and did not honour the rate given by Expedia. Had city and other hotels had availability we would have changed. Hotels all filled with NFL and last national long weekend before Christmas and this weekend like Black Friday. City was a mess.

good value for people on a budget
A good hotel for people on a budget. Room was clean and not too cramped. Bathroom okay and shower works for hot water. Good location as not far from park and downtown area but not so crowded. Staff helpful. Restaurant in hotel was good. Not a lot of variety of food but still good value. The only negative is that you might need some basic Spanish. However this hotel overall is good value. Less expensive than others in the area.
