Great location
Great location in a historic house if you do not mind using stairs for second floor access. Close to Coconut Grove restaurants. Recommended.

I really liked this property. The only minor difficulties were the electronic door locks were erratic, and the parking was a garage a block and one half away. All told, I was very, very pleased.

The place was very clean / comfortable. The instructions were very clear. The place was very quiet. The area around the property was nice with amenities. I strongly recommend this property.

Beautiful historical inn in Coconut Grove. There are great restaurants, shopping, and it is close to downtown. 1 star off for the slow check in communication. Had to call and email the property management company multiple times to receive door codes and arrival instructions.

Best stay in coconut grove and affordable. It was in the most perfect spot with restaurants and shopping centers at walking distance. as girls we felt completely safe staying at this shared space home and the only thing i can say is it was comfortable and the rooms are more spacious than the photos say. We loved it here and would definitely come back and stay at this historical home.

Location is perfect. No staff on premises Tub with hand held shower only. Mildew and mold on shower curtain. Parking garage was around the other side of the block, about a 5 minute walk—not terrible except in the rain!

I was not sent my codes for the doors until after i arrived and only because I rang, and i had to get contact number from another guest. Otherwise, I liked the history of the property and the rooms done to a good standard. It was convenient to eating. I would suggest it could use some loungers and tbe towels could be bigger.

Property is situated steps away from the amazing Coconut Grove strip - which has tons of amazing restaurants, bars, and cafes. Neighbourhood is well lit, and felt very safe to walk around at night. Keyless entry to the residence was a breeze, and the interior and rooms are absolutely gorgeous - such a nice change from your standard hotels. Was a bit tricky to shower in the clawfoot tubs without getting water anywhere, but we were able to manage. The rooms also have ample storage for clothes and belongings. Parking is unfortunately not onsite - but you can pull up to unload your bags, and the parking garage is a 2-3 mins walk around the corner (the concierges there were excellent, and underground parking felt very secure). All in all, thrilled with our decision to stay here, and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Dissatisfied
I paid for my room in full. Received an email to fill out a questionnaire which didn’t work. Was provided with a phone number that doesn’t exist. Had to walk to the location to only be given information from a guest, that I should receive an email with a code to enter the house, which I never did. The stay never happened because there was absolutely no information provided whatsoever after I made my transaction. I had to end up booking a room elsewhere

Super cool historical house!
The only thing I’d point out is that there are is no on-site staff. However, there is always someone taking calls. However, it truly is that sort of thing that just doesn’t exist anymore. The house was restored and looks nearly like the day it was built. Other than that, you really are missing out on something very special by not staying there.

2/10 Poor

It was the worst place I ever stayed,I never received a mail concerning my stay, altough called them one day ahead and the day arrived for 5 times, they didn’t answer till 1 pm,The person answered the phone was rude and even asked 4 times for wifi, they didn’t BOTHER to answer!!!!Also, the room was pitch dark because lights didn’t work and they didn’t care to change!!! I had 2 terrible days in there and I highly suggest you to keep away from this place ,even not list it and DO NOT waste your money!!

4/10 Fair

Horrible chrck in process. Electronic code thatt was enailed was a generic one that worked on all doors. Took forever to get get a secure code. No response via phone to calls for help, only text messaging. No response to request for wifi password. No daily housecleaning (and not enough garbage recepticals). No onsite parking. Their lot was in a garage lot you had to walk to with a complicated process to get security to let you in.

4/10 Fair

Never again
The bathtub was awful, they obviously want you to take a bath in a not so clean tub which is hard to step in to. It was only a hand-held faucet so it was impossible to wash your hair. If I didn't try to stuff the dirty shower curtain inside the tub, there would be water all over the floor. In addition, even though there was a parking lot on premise we had to drive the car around 2 blocks and park in an underground garage of an apartment building and walk back 2 blocks to the house. Why there was a $80 accomodations fee, I will never know, only thing offered was a general coffee machine(Keurig) but they ran out of water by 8 of our first morning and never replaced it during the 2 days we were there.

8/10 Very good

Quaint and comfy
The only complaints I have about the house was the overpowering Lysol scent. I mean I understand clean, don't get me wrong, but it was to the point of almost being like headache worthy. The bed had little black flakes on it which wasn't a big deal and that's about all I can really say that was not absolutely perfect. It was a cozy and quaint room, and we had everything we needed really. I would say to use different codes around the house because I'm sure that with the front door being one code and our door being just our room number and the same code, all the other rooms could be the same. Like room number one could be one XXX room number two could be two XXX etc and I feel like if someone untrustworthy was in the house they could have come into our room at any time. That's it that's all the complaints I have not really a big deal. Everything else was great, the bed was amazing I love that bed.
