This is a perfect place for genuine Italian flare. The grounds of this villa are beautiful. The rooms are miniature villas and are right next to the restaurant. The restaurant is an elegant and romantic setting with doors swinging open to the garden area as well as outdoor seating. Most important is the excellent quality of the food! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could go back soon. This is a perfect spot for couples to enjoy as a first night after arrival at the Rome airport or staying there the night before your flight. Also very close to Lake Bracciano

Hotel Villa Clementina is an idyllic country hotel. It is important to have a car as it is about a 10 minute drive into Bracciano. It is not on the lake front, but is 'just up the hill'. In October it was very quiet, the gardens were lush and the weather was good. The staff were very attentive and the included breakfast was delicious - special diet was not a problem for them. We had a delicious dinner there every night (it was too far to go to town, in the dark). Bracciano is an attractive town, with a very handsome castle and lakeside restaurants. Lake Bracciano is beautiful: we drove around; and visited the historical Italian Airforce Museum. We used the hotel as a base to visit the extraordinary hill town of Bagnioregio, and the city of Tivoli with Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa.

Worth a Stop on Way North from Rome
This is a great place to stay if you're coming up from Rome, headed to Tuscany and points North. Short drive from FCO. Hotel is small but rooms are very clean and we had a very spacious accommodation. Hotel has a nice pool and a restaurant. Breakfasts were not so luxurious, but included lots of fresh fruit and great croissants, lots of pastries, and hard boiled eggs. Dinners, however, were amazing and extremely reasonable. Bracciano is on a beautiful lake and the town itself has a castle worth a tour (very inexpensive), some great restaurants right near the castle, and probably the best Gelato shop we've been at in Italy (and we've been at many!). You can also do day trips to lovely towns like Bolsena on your way to Tuscany. Villa Clementina staff was superb-they'll go out of their way to fulfill any reasonable request. We will stay there again.

loved the rooms. gorgeous. plain beautiful. a bit difficult to park and definitely removed from the town. but gorgeous rooms and grounds nonetheless. the two major and real disappointments were the spa and the breakfast. the spa is NOT included in the hotel. it is brutally expensive to access the hot tub and btw only for 60 minutes. so the name and pictures on the website are very deceiving. by staying at the hotel, which is pricey to begin with, you do not get access to the spa. to do so plan on dounling the cost of the room...that is how expensive it is. secondly rhe breakfast is very sub par. very commercial, packaged stuff. nothing local or homemade. disappointing.

Charming 7 room hotel with gorgeous grounds/pool
Ricardo, mgr, responded to my email inquiries promptly, was very gracious, room was beautiful, garden patio for meals was lovely, service excellent, great food, pool fabulous! Could have stayed for a month. A bit difficult to find, but Ricardo drove out to meet us so we could follow him back to the hotel. Would definitely return. Strongly recommended is you want a quiet peaceful place with only 7 rooms!

I felt like a rich person....
An amazing villa!! The staff could not have been more accommodating - we arrived late afternoon and a lovely "snack" was arranged....including the most outstanding mozzarella and truffles.... The staff was most accommodating in assisting us with car arrangements- Leo was the best!!! A magnificent location- amazing food....the risotto was unbelievable. If you don't have a car....Leo is wonderful . we went to Trevignano Romano on a Sunday...absolutely charming. A magnificent experience and a wonderful way to conclude our Italy trip. Mille Grazie!

Italy to a Tee
Booking through the Expedia App for our overnight stay was very straightforward; however, take care before spending that extra money to come here as the hotel typifies Italy to a tee. We were seduced by the thought of unwinding after the lunacy of the roads by relaxing by the pool ('off season', outside and still empty) after having enjoyed the hot tub and spa (if only we'd booked one of the 90 minute slots the day before we arrived as they had all gone; simple maths and counting the rooms and dinner guests suggested this was also a non-starter, however.) Nevertheless, once we had found the hotel in the maze of cloistered streets, the view of the castle at Bracciano through the trees was stunning, the owner, chef and staff were attentive and most pleasant, the restaurant and food delightful and the junior suite was decorated interestingly with its faux frescos; if only they hadn't just jammed 2 beds together to make a double, which made for comedy romance if one wished to emulate the bacchanalian shenanigans painted on the walls. I love aeroplanes, access to the Italian Air Force Museum at Vigna di Valle is only minutes away, hence our stay; so, I didn't mind the constant fleet of airliners on approach to the airport in the slightest, if you do mind, you'll be disturbed. Italy to a tee: corrupt, chaotic but quite charming; I would go again for sure.

A gem in Bracciano
After a 24 day cruise we wanted to be away from 2000 people before flying back to Boston. We found the peace and tranquillity in Villa Clementina. Only 7 rooms, off-season, just us and 4 other people: perfect. From the moment we checked in to our departure we felt we were staying in someone's private villa. Candles lit along the walk to the small, intimate restaurant with fireplace, more candles and classical music made this stay also very romantic. The grounds have cozy areas to sit, lined with statues, sloping to a beautiful big swimming pool (with very cold water late October) and tennis court. The staff couldn't have been nicer, welcoming and accommodating. With suggestions from where to walk, restaurants in town (we visited 2 excellent ones, Pane & Olio (lunch) and Taverna (excellent dinner with wine and food suggestions (fresh porcinis) from the young woman-owner) the museum castle in town, the Italian Air Force museum, to medieval towns along the lake (all musts when you're there). Good size room, big armoire for hanging, two drawers on bottom. Very comfortable bed. Big bathroom, very good shower (with curtain), high toilet, heated towels (nice touch). Nice buffet breakfast with fruit salad on request, juices, boiled eggs, cold cuts, great croissants and sweets. And cappuccinos of course. Dinners were very good, simple compared to the Taverna in town, but nobody has the romantic setting as Clementina. All in all a very pleasant visit, we highly recommend this hotel.
