The kids enjoyed the pool and meryenda buffet. The wifi is fast. The place is very peaceful. We loved the foods in the restaurant and cafe, very affordable. The bathroom is superb. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. Only one thing, for the price which is close to hotel prices inside Camp John Hay, I hope someone will help us with our bags as well.

Would have wanted a refrigerator in the room. Would have preferred to have outlets at the bedside. Wished the windows could be opened or better yet a patio. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Would have wanted to experience the dinner buffet. However, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Grande. That’s how I described my stay
I like the peacefulness of the place, safe and clean. Staff are friendly . How I wished I have more choices when it comes to breakfast like bread and cereals and milk. Overall, I am satisfied.

Weekend retreat
The positives for this hotel were the very friendly and helpful staff, on site parking and outside the immediate city so avoiding the pollution. The pool is too shallow to swim and really is just for children. The breakfast, understandably , is geared to Asian people so very limited. Sad no fruit juices or a wider choice. It was also strange that at the weekend breakfast was served on the 8th floor with a buffet selection. Come Monday no buffet and a very limited choice served on the ground floor. Old scaffolding also still up outside our room window which from the rust suggests it’s been there since the hotel was built. Some simple changes to the hotel would make a big difference

For a rate of 10k/night there was no ref in the room, no outlets near the beds, no lamp shade. they only provided 1 extension cord plugged near the TV. The toilet smells like sewer. There were no complimentary tea since im not a coffee drinker. With it’s price I expected the facilities were great but turned out to be disappointing.

amazing place
Big room, very clean and new, bathroom was big and clean as well. Staff very accommodating and quick to assist and provide all requests. Allowed us to bring bike into the room. Breakfast was great, lots of choices, only needs better coffee and less sugary drinks.

Not recommended (Poor Service)
booked 6 rooms (pay at the property). 3 days prior to arrival, a frontdesk officer called to offer me a “lower rate” given that i cancel my bookings thru hotels.com & book directly with them. I politely declined since i booked a pay at the property rate wc is usually higher than non-refundable&pay upon booking rates. However, they obliged me to pay half of the total amount of the 6 rooms citing that it’s peak season (why offer pay at the property rates then?). i paid 50% prior to arrival to secure the booking and to avoid any cancellation. Upon arrival, check in experience was ok. Rooms were ok except for the no phones to use to call frontdesk or housekeeping for assistance just in case wc is such a hassle. Breakfast buffet experience was ok (food not so yummy except for dimsum) during the first day but on the second day, it was terrible. We arrived past 9am since it was christmas day, we woke up late. tables were no longer set, when i asked for utensils, a female attendant told me to check in the basket near the dimsum area. As to the christmas buffet, spread was good but the entertainment felt like it was a wedding banquet because of the song choices of the live band. Request for room upgrade for a fee was granted (thanks to Ms. Mona - the only exception to the generally poor service). However, the room given was not thoroughly clean when we arrived. The toilet still had urine from the previous guest i guess & roach too Hotel staff do not smile. We did not feel welcome.

Need to request high floor with a view. Pluses are friendly staff and the room is relatively new and clean. Minuses are no phone in room. For foreigners without Viber app, difficult to request anything from front desk — need to go downstairs everytime. Very hard to catch a taxi since the location is a bit remote. House keeping didn’t clean our room. They did apologize and brought towels and amenities when we told them.

Pros: Room are clean, aircon are good (which I prefer), and , the bathroom are fabulous and, the service is also excellent! Cons: Room lacks veranda to let the cool air comes in, the food needs to include more choices. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The room needs towel rack for hand towels in the bathroom and another towel rack for the bath towel. The driver's quarters need to be better insulated.

This hotel is very over priced for what it offers. The rooms lack many of the basic necessities for today's traveller. There are no plugs of any sort by the bed - I had to plug my computer into the jack for the TV & my phone into the jack for the kettle. There was no bedside light or dimmer .... the light switches were by the door only.... so if you woke up in the middle of the night, you had to feel your way to the switches, and then be shocked by the bright light. There was no full length mirror, limited bathroom supplies (not even conditioner) and the bedroom window was filthy .... and most tacky of all, was a list of everything in the bedroom that was for sale ... including the bed!. Finally, the elevator beeped constantly, & could be heard from way down the hall. It seemed like whoever designed the hotel had never actually stayed in one! Very disappointing & over-priced. On the plus side, however, the location is wonderful, especially if you like to walk in the morning, and be surrounded by trees. Wifi is also good.

The Hotel is chic and contemporary. The room is a clean, comfortable bed and the facilities are simple but efficient. Air conditioning is definitely a plus, especially in the summer. The Staff are very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Parking is a big plus, breakfast is decent and enough. Constructive criticisms: would be great if the light switch were located on the bedside, the hot water shower is not hot enough, and the Lift smells like Durian. The Staff at the Japanese restaurant needs to be trained in terms of knowing the dishes ie: ingredients, and how it's cooked. Nevertheless, the hotel is 5 stars in our opinion. Love the hotel.

cutting-edge smart technology & prestigious hotel!
We experienced an unparalleled luxury at Hotel Grande which is one of the newest hotels in Baguio City, where the hotel dedicated staff exceeds our expectations every step of the way. From seamless check-in to hassle-free check-out. Our rooms embody the perfect blend of comfort and functionality, boasting bright lighting, high-quality bedding and mattresses, and cutting-edge smart technology. They have a diverse range of dining options, catering to every craving - from all-day buffets to delectable international cuisines. While an in-house laundry service would be a welcome addition in the future, we think Hotel Grande deserves a prestigious 4 -5 star hotel rating.
