Best time at Hotel Canoe
Great stay at the canoe hotel and suites, great location. First stop and drop off on the ski shuttles. Great modern hotel, food was amazing. Only points I would say is that there wasn't enough wardrobe space. A family for 4 struggling to find areas for clothes. Also the ski lockers could be in a more convenient space. But apart from that we had a great stay! and would recommend.

Not worth the price
I am frustrated w myself for booking this hotel. It was twice the price of the average hotel in the area when I booked and even more than the Rimrock. I thought it would be nice but I was disappointed. I’m not sure if it was renovated or newly built but whoever designed it probably needs a new job. It’s like a glorified motel w a nice facade but the buildings are parallel to each other so our queen fireplace suite w Mountain View rooms were very small w a whole wall of windows looking straight into the rooms across the way w a tiny Mountain View if we craned our heads around the side of the building. This design also makes it so that the beds are along the hall where we could hear every single step, door opening and closing, word people said, all day and night. It’s a cute hotel but not worth anywhere close to what we paid. The hot pools and fire on the roof are nice but busy. Also, this hotel is about a 25 min walk to the center of town so it’s not convenient, especially in the winter. You can take the bus but you still have to wait in the cold until it comes.

So Cozy!
We came down for a quick trip to attend the Christmas market. We brought our dog with us and they were so accommodating for him. They brought him a bed, dog dish and poops bags to our room, as well as gave him a toy and treats when we checked in. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very cozy, with a great sized balcony. Will stay here again!
