Is worth paying more in another hotel
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Dirty cleans, dirty wall, dirty bathroom, the room is so small that if you bring more that one carry on, you would have to open the door in order to be able to open the second suitcase. Or put the suitcases on your bed.

Zarco guest house was wonderful. Rooms are small (not suitable for large people/luggage) to move around in and nicely appointed. Great location near to everything: siteseeing, restaurants, ocean, shopping and lovely squares. Breakfast was delicious with many options including fresh fruit and pasteries. Highly recommend.

Cute little B&B conveniently located in the centre of Funchal close to all amenities. Bright property and super clean. Good breakfast. Great staff. Carla from reception was amazing. Very helpful! Just a tad noisy at times, as there is a coffee shop opposite in the square . But all in all, a great place to stay fot a few days

The Zarco B&B it’s a convenient location in Funchal it’s just 3 min walking distance from seaside and central town. The room and the staff was exceptional. Extremely friendly and super helpful. Breakfast it’s great and they are organized if you leave early for hiking they provide take away food bag.The room is equipped with small fridge and AC . The room cleaning and with towel changing happen every day. Can not recommend more. Excellent!

Hotel was in the centre of town, walkable to everything....shops, restaurants, attractions, transit, promenade. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. Room could of been a bit bigger. If you get a room facing the promenade, it can be noisy with people talking and music into late hours 3am. But overall enjoyed our stay.
