Hotel should be delisted for fraud
MUST READ. Hotel did not honour booking through hotels.com and I had no choice but to pay an increased price for the room again. Case is registered with Hotels.com
Apparently the hotel has changed ownership, the new owner has nothing to do with hotels.com and states he does not receive any money. Upon arrival in freezing cold, wind and rain, we had little choice but to pay 30% more, and pay for a full night stay. Hopefully hotels.com will refund the booking amount charged as we booked through their platform.
Additionally, you have to pay extra for a heater if you want one in the room, which would be essential if you dont want to turn to ice in the night. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom has a pungent smell. Long tiring walk to the mall. View was good. Very noisy with other customers, can hear everything from reception to children screaming.
