Spur of the moment getaway and this hotel did the trick for the most part. The only complaint was the filth caked on top of fridge and the bathroom door was not wiped down, there was a spot that looked like dried poopy ☹️ The breakfast buffet was just ok. The self making waffle station was the best part.

Good for a small family beach getaway

The room was surprisingly big and very clean. The hotel grounds, including the pool and bar area were great for people looking for a nice beach vacation. The food at the bar and in their restaurant I would not recommend. We had some stomach issues after eating at the Coconut Bar on the restaurant grounds. Overall, I would say it was good for the star rating that it has and it was right on the entrance to the beach, which was great.

We loved our stay at Castle in the Sand. They let us park there before our room was ready so we had easy access to the pool and beach. The pool was really nice. We were in one of the cottages and it was not far from the beach at all. You are able to order drinks and food right on the beach or by the pool if you’d like! We would 100% stay here again.
