Great place to stay coming and going from the Labrador ferry. The added benefit is the history of this Inn. It’s a converted school and is very well done. Love the story. And the food is great as well

Genevieve Bay Inn is a former school which has been converted to a B&B and pub. The owners are so hospitable and friendly. The food was excellent. The rooms are spotless and well-cared for. I loved the decorating and special features. I also appreciated the travel tips given and the time taken to escort us through the facility explaining everything. As first time visitors to the area we enjoyed a wonderful stay!

Friendly, on the main road, unique. Exceptionally clean and fresh!! White linen is "white" and fresh!! Beautiful renovated old school. Love the personal touch on every room, we stayed in different rooms on our travels. Bar and pool tables. Very relaxing atmosphere. Love staying over there to break up our trips to and from Labrador to Newfoundland Nice menu for meals. Light breakfast provided...(Self-help) Cereal, toast and muffins, juice, coffee, tea. (Although I missed the eggs, bacon etc.) Lovely dining room. Bright and welcoming.

The staff was great and the room was unique and clean and comfortable. The place is pretty remote but Continental breakfast was included and supper meals could be purchased. My only complaint was that the WiFi was extremely limited.

A school with a bar and pool tables!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also a gym. The bathrooms were finely appointed. It was unique; it’s not everyday that you sleep in a former school.

Clean and close to the ferry
The hotel is a renovated elementary school. It is clean and comfortable but you can hear noise. Good for a sound sleeper. It is close to the Labrador ferry which is my choice for staying. Breakfast is included. Overall fine for what is needed in travel.

It was a good place to stay the night on our trip. It is a unique building; being an old elementary school. The lady who owns and runs the place is very nice and she was also a former student of the school.

This is a re-purposed grade school. Classrooms have be made into ensuite bedrooms, with room for table and chairs, desk, very nice chest-of-drawers. Excellent breakfast. Staff were cheerful, helpful with hints and directions to see whatever was interesting in the area. Menu options with daily specials.
