Rustically Wonderful
Stayed here for the first time last year and booked it again for our recent trip. The location is great, it's rustic, but in a charming way. Love the little cafe/ice cream shop that has great morning pastries, but get there early...so you can get into the park early and avoid the lines!

Rustic
Rustic is an over-statement. Old. Everything pretty much worked. Lower cost option. You get what you pay for. Understand what you are getting. I would stay again.

Great little place.
We had a little cabin, very clean, very quiet. The kitchen was set up with basic equipment, fridge and good water pressure. We were a one night stay, but could’ve easily stayed a week.

Good choice
My son and I stayed here for one night. Overall it was good. My only wishes were more food options (son has celiac disease, I recognize that's not a common ask) and a way to keep the room a little cooler at night (had one small desk fan, no A/C). Location was great (6 miles from park entrance) and price was very reasonable compared to many of the other options near Nisqually entrance.

A unique experience for sure. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the full property and the cafe. Was only there for one night, and our stay was good. Really neat story on how this place came to be. Location is top notch for a visit to Mt. Rainier, 5 miles from entrance. Great little coffee stand 1 minute down the road that opens @ 5:30, that’s my kind of place for an early riser.

It is historical and a bit rustic - no TVs but we don’t mind that at all. Staff was friendly and it is in a great location

It’s a cute spot, and it allows to explore the area. I would say it has thin walls.

Nice Place to Stay
Very cute and conveniently located. We didn’t try the restaurant but there was one on location, loved all the seating areas outside, and the coffee and energy drinks from the shop were so good. Only complaint is the walls are very very thin. Heard the whole conversations from the room behind us and people wheeling out suitcases early in the morning from the wood sidewalk next to the doors. Otherwise loved this place and definitely recommend and hope to stay again sometime .
