It's a budget hotel
Hotel room was as you expected for a budget hotel in London Room smelled of cigarette smoke when we entered although duvet covers were clean and fresh however upon inspection of inside the duvet we noticed it was heavily stained of blood and looked yellow all over which showed signs it hadn't been deep cleaned in along time. All fixtures were wonky on the walls and had dust and cobwebs all over them showing no signs of cleaning. Staff there were very friendly and got us extra pillows without an issue. Toilet in bathroom was lose on the wall and the shower has some mould on the sealant as well as limescale around the base. The sink had toothpaste on the outer side towards the shower, showing no signs of thorough cleaning between guests. Fridge in the room didn't work, but internet services were decent and worked. The floor initially had been cleaned over however in the corners there was dust, wood chippings on the floor around the mini fridge. There was some yellow drip stains on the wall near and around the window, due to the heavy smoke smell this looked like tobacco tar. For £79 for two people it was okay, however wouldn't want to return due to the conditions which mainly come down to the room not being in a clean enough condition.

Stay away from this hotel!!! I can only warn you: the Comfotel PRPL in London is an absolute nightmare! Upon our arrival, the receptionist informed us that our room was in the basement – something we were not made aware of beforehand, and it was not mentioned in the booking confirmation. The room was dusty, dirty, stuffy, and reeked of chlorine. For someone like me, with asthma and allergies, it was unbearable! When we asked for another room, the receptionist merely replied that this was "normal" in London and handed us two air fresheners – completely inadequate! The toilet was wobbly and unstable, the towels and bedding smelled of mold, and the floor was filthy. The small refrigerator we had was also unsanitary. The shower drain was full of hair! We were told that we could get another room the next day for an additional £140. This is outrageous, especially since we had already paid €360 for four nights! We were assured that there would be a "deep cleaning" the next morning. However, when we returned the next evening, we found only smelly (supposedly fresh) towels and an empty trash can. Otherwise, the room remained dirty. Despite our health concerns, there was no willingness to accommodate us from the staff. I will never stay at this hotel again. It is a disgrace, and I absolutely cannot recommend it!

Stay away from this hellhole
Looks nothing like presented online. Mold in the shower, dirty room, cheap mattress. We were kept away by a drugged up neighbour who banged the doors all night and confronted us when we entered the room. There was no one in the reception and no one picked up the phone. When we finally got a hold of them they asked why I just didn't deal with him myself. We had to move after one night. We got the remaining nights back, and still waiting for hotels.com to help us with claiming this night back. Moved to a new hotel closer to central - Soo much better. Worth the extra cost.

jeg får mit værelse en halv time før tid, af venlig personale på hotellet ved siden af. jeg snakker med rengøringsdamen omkring hvor jeg finder et postkontor og hun er yderst venlig og hjælpsom. hotellet er okay placeret i forhold til metroen og er nemt at finde. der er små shampoo og neglefil på værelset. alt i alt er det super fint enmandsværelse

Cheap but not cheerful
Room was clean but very tired. Lots of furnishings and flooring damaged and not looking great. Bathroom hot water took untill i raised an issue to get hot water. Toilet flush kept breaking 3 times. Gave up reporting it by the end. We weren't in the room much which helped massively. Wont be staying there again
