This is a lovely little hotel that has been recently updated and hums with all the conveniences you'd hope for in a tiny town on the Wild Atlantic Way. Everything is small but neat, with the rooms arranged over a few floors in the hopscotch manner I've come to expect from tiny towns. The bar was lively and the restaurant was very good, with both dinner and breakfast being very nicely prepared with a good range of options for everyone in our party. The proprietors were quite busy assisting with everything, which I find part of the charm of a small hotel. Our rooms were nicely arranged and quite quiet even though we were next to the road leading to the back parking lot. The bathroom was quite spacious and everything was scrupulously clean. I would happily stay here again on another jaunt along Ireland's Atlantic coast.

This is a good and clean hotel with friendly service but to be truthful it's nothing outstanding; we had better and cheaper B&Bs on our trip around the West Coast. The location however is great - it's a five minute stroll down to Ballyvaughan pier, which is simply gorgeous,

The lodge is okay to live in, it has everything you need. it would not be an excellent condition for the facility and the tidyness compare the price your pay. it is a small place and we got a room facing the road , the downstairs has pub with late customers. It does not have car parking when we arrive at 7PM, so I have drive around the small town to find a place that I can park . The SPAR accorss the road is handly .Thanks for the safe stay anyway. T

An Absolute Gem
My son, Cian and I had the pleasure of staying in the Wild Atlantic Lodge for 2 nights earlier this month while on a week long road trip together. What an absolutely beautiful little hotel. This is not just the kind of place you want to stay in, this is the kind of hotel you want to own!! Every inch of this hotel was absolutely spotless. The rooms were as comfortable and as well equipped as a hotel 2-3 times the price. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and both nights the food was superb. In fact on the second night, my very picky eater of a son enjoyed the meal so much, he had 2 entrees!! After dinner we sat and chatted with other guests in the Snug Bar and the conversation invariably started with something like, "isn't this place just gorgeous?" While there, I wanted to do some laundry. Paul (the owner) called around, found someone in another town who came, pickup my laundry. Washed and dried it and delivered it back within 12 hours. All for an extremely reasonable price. Not that is service!!! I cant say enough good things about this hotel. And a special shout out to the staff!! Especially Paddy behind the bar and the lovely Zoe who was our hostess, waitress, concierge, receptionist... She was amazing!! In short...this beautiful little hotel punches way above its weight!!!!

Pleasant interlude in tranquil surroundings
A lovely friendly helpful place to stay, very clean and well run. Nicely situated. Staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The whole covid situation was well managed without being in your face, felt safe here at all times. Could have some sort of system to allow guests to semi clean their own room, i.e: drop off used towels/empty bins etc. this would facilitate the system they have in place. Door to bathroom was missing a screw, small gripe but easily fixed. Overall a very pleasant experience, can only recommend!

Awesome place to stay! Beautifully decorated, hot shower with great water pressure, comfortable bed and great food downstairs. We had dinner and breakfast and were equally pleased and impressed with both. VERY happy we stayed at this lodge on our trip around Ireland!
