Very few Hotels are the same [in reality] as their Promotion Pictures. This one is.
There is construction underway at present but, the noise is during Business Hours.

Bed too hard, but otherwise everything was good...
Great location looking out at the Mekong River. The room was fine except there were some tiny ants looking for food on the lamp table and the bed was too hard to allow me to sleep comfortably on my side. If you sleep on your back, then no problem....

Little Gem
Amazing little gem directly on the embankment of the mighty Mekong River. Simple down to earth hotel with a hint of pure nature. Loved it!!! Nothing flash but very comfortable and friendly. We will be back🤗

Mut Mee Gardens is exactly what I hoped for in a tropical guesthouse. The rooms were well-cared for and accommodating, without ostentation. It's a casual place where you easily can spend the day lounging on your room's veranda or under a common palapa in the gardens. The gardens, and most rooms, face the promenade along the Mekong, so you can walk - or borrow one of their bikes - for miles along the river, and there's little if any motor vehicle noise. The street markets are nearby, either along the promenade or a couple blocks inland. There's a very friendly resident dog and a couple of cats. Mosquitoes are present, of course, but each room has a mosquito net for the bed, as well as aircon. Food is good; coffee could use some attention. It's a lovely garden and inn.

The photographs are quite accurate and portray the room as it really is. My room did not have a/c or a bathroom but the evenings were cool enough with the fan and the bathroom was shared between two rooms so that was easy. The hotel is charming, the staff helpful, the bikes in reasonable condition, and the location fantastic. Same day laundry service was wonderful.

Returning to Nong Khai for the first time in years. Mut Mee transported me back to those times. Staff was helpful. It’s located central Nong Khai so easy to walk to where you need or get tuk tuk’s if going a bit further. On the River so great for waking up and relaxing on the lakeside.

Nice location right on the Mekong.
Property itself is very average with limited facilities, old furniture and uncomfortable bed and the parking is virtually non existent.

Direct Waterfront Mekong
This was my last week of two months in Thailand and my first visit to Nóng Khai. The location is excellent, situated directly adjacent to the miles long boardwalk and Mekong River. The grounds are tastefully decorated with brick walkways through thick shade trees and bushes with several covered areas wired for laptops to sit, work or relax. It does get buggy so you need repellent. The buildings are rustic and uniquely designed with an attractive European feel. They are divided into two areas of smaller, no view rooms with fans and six rooms over two floors with a/c, river views and balconies. The rooms are modest in size with the exception of the family room which has an equally large balcony overlooking the river and boardwalk. The staff here were consistently friendly and efficient in all areas including front desk and housekeeping. I found the hotel as a whole a very attractive and welcoming place to stay. The only negatives for me was the restaurant has been closed for sometime and so you must travel to get your meals or use grab delivery. My room which I consider to be the best room after the family room had frequent visits from little lizards which I don’t mind outside but I don’t like them in the room as they leave droppings. Lastly the hotel is separated from a private residence by a wall right behind the rooms. The neighbor has several dogs that bark frequently during the night and there were domestic disturbances. Annoying but not a deal breaker for me. Recommend.

Great little hotel/guesthouse right on Mekong
Great staff and location right on Mekong riverfront. Rooms were nice set in lovely nature surrounds. Unique ordering and service for food and drinks, really cool. Highly recommend and will be my first choice on any future visits to Nong Khai.
