You can study the exhibits at Museo Archeologico Provinciale Francesco Ribezzo, a museum with a storied past, during your travels to Brindisi. While you're in the area, stroll along the waterfront.
"An excellent B&B really handy for the port area of Brindisi or the town if you want to go shopping. The B&B Maria Vittoria is an excellent family run place to stay. The room are spacious and very comfortable. They are cleaned every day and are really quiet to say you are on the main street.
The continental breakfast is plentiful with a choice of cereals, toast, meats, cheese, cakes, coffee and fruit juice. A cooked breakfast is available at a small extra charge.
This is a place we would definitely stay again."
"Clean and very close to the historic center. The listing did not mention that parking was limited and needed to be reserved (it may have changed since my stay), which was the reason I booked the hotel in the first place. However, the lady at the front desk quickly found a solution, which I really appreciated."
"This is a lovely new hotel suitable for a couple of days break, everything very clean, lovely continental breakfast, rooms were large, all staff were very accommodating. Only draw back to this hotel is that you need a car otherwise it costs a fortune in taxi fare (between 10&20 euros each way) to get into / out of brindisi, the road outside is narrow and not safe to walk due speeding vehicles "
"Beautiful place to stay but the food was disappointing (not hot enough) and some of the staff were quite rude, not the friendliest and we witnessed some unpleasant behaviour between staff. "
"Wonderful. For us; perfect. Beautifully appointed in a minimalist style. All rooms open onto the pool but in such a way that there is complete privacy…rooms are set back underneath a gorgeous canopy of vines in an L shaped colonnade. There were never more than half a dozen people at the pool, which is enormous. The bedrooms have quiet air conditioning (only turned it on at night) and the beds are THE most comfortable with nice, firm mattresses.
We ate dinner on one occasion and it was excellent. A lovely setting. We had lunch twice and again, it was just what we wanted. Because most people seem to dine elsewhere, the menus are naturally limited in scope but suited our needs completely.
The staff, particularly Allesandro, could not have been nicer. They were always there to anticipate our needs.
The location was also perfect…15 minutes to Mesagne, which is a lovely town. 25 minutes to Lecce and about the same to Brindisi.
I could not recommend Masseria Malvindi highly enough. If you’re looking to unwind in a quiet and very pleasant environment; this certainly would be top of the list. "
"A budget stay in Brindisi in the pick seaso n. Staff are friendly. Room are decent size. Recommended to have a car as all attraction are reachable by the car.
A certainly recommend it. "
