A square from the air Looking north-ish from a plane, at TL4314. Beyond that, you can see where the pylons march right through this square, maintaining a dead-straight line. Clearly marked are the two woods, the pylons passing over the right-hand corner of the first and the left-hand corner of the other. Looking at the 1:25,000 map (using the Get-a-Map link on this page), you will be able to recognise lots of other features – for example, the little track in the foreground that just fizzles out in the middle of a field (in the next square south).
