Beaufort and Port Royal are smaller towns that have a vibrant air. I love the waterfront and historic houses and the way the residents seem in love with the area. It's great for a Lowcountry flair without the hustle and bustle of Charleston.

Enjoyed Pat Conroy golf-cart tour and really enjoyed visiting the Penn Center! Nice shops downtown and good restaurants. Lovely waterfront park. Beautiful homes, nicely maintained. Would return, yes.
