This was such a welcoming hotel with fantastic rooms and a fantastic breakfast. This was part of a three week trip to Europe and they even did our laundry for the reasonable price of 10 Euro. It's close to town and the restaurant had very good food as well. No air conditioning in the rooms but we were able to create a breeze which kept things cool with the ample windows. Very nice stay.

Nice quiet location just outside a small town in a pleasant environment. Clean and comfortable room and the restaurant food was very nice. Typical hotel breakfast was fine. Staff were helpful and parking was plentiful and felt safe for my motorcycle. Nothing to complain about and very good value for money.

Wir fanden die Tage super, die Lage und die Ruhe tat uns richtig gut. Ja, es roch etwas komisch, aber das lag wahrscheinlich daran das vorher ein Raucher in dem Zimmer war oder eben vor dem Zimmer auf der Terrasse bzw am Teich. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Bei den Fruchtaufstrichen war leider kein Hinweis, was es ist. Der Frühstücksraum war im Industrie Look, was mir ziemlich gut gefiel.

Leider ist das Hotel in die jahre gekommen. Es wurde nur stümperhaft versucht etwas das alter zu kaschieren. Versuch war da. Stark muffiger geruch im Zimmer. Personal ist bemüht aber überfordert. Sauberkeit wird nicht gerade groß geschrieben. Kalkreste auf Bodenfliesen und einiges mehr. Preisleisungsverhältnis past nicht. Schade...

Enttäuschend. Durch einen kompletten Zugausfall kam ich erst um Mitternacht an. Es gibt sehr wenige Taxis in der Gegend und es ist dadurch sehr schwierig zum und vom Hotel zu kommen. Das Hotel ist telefonisch schwer erreichbar. Und obwohl ich Bescheid gegeben ha, dass es später wird, bekam ich keine Information, dass niemand da sein wird. Der Zimmerschlüssel klebte am Hoteleingang. Leider mit der falschen Wegbeschreibung, so dass ich erstmal gesucht habe. Dann musste ich das Hotel über die Notfallnr. kontaktieren und wurde in ein anderes Gebäude geschickt. Das Zimmer war kalt. Bettwäsche sehr dünn. Das Kopfkissen für die Mülltonne! Grauenhaft. Das Bad ist klein, aber schön. Nur der Spiegel hängt da für Menschen über 175cm. Sehr schwierig in Idar-Oberstein ein Taxi zu bekommen. Aber das ist nicht die Schuld des Hotels.

Schöne, ruhige Lage, Sauberkeit oberflächlich OK, könnte aber besser sein, Mini-Aufbackbrötchen statt frischer Bäckerbrotchenein, Frühstück o.k. aber Auswahl eher mittelmäßig. Kein Frühstücksbacon, Wurst und Käsesorten mäßig. Für das Preisniveau erwartet man etwas mehr.Brot

It was very warm in the room due to no airconditioning and when you opened the window for some fresh air, the whole room was immediately filled with a lot of small flies. We’ve counted a least 50. Perhaps is a little curtain to keep the flies and bugs out a solution. Or an airconditioning.
