Although I've traveled extensively using Hotels.com, I've never left a review—until now. I feel compelled to share my recent hotel experience in hopes that no one else goes through what my family did. Our holiday was essentially ruined by this hotel. The owner misled us; the venue’s main business is hosting weddings and events, which explains why they seem to have neglected their customer service. We were never informed about the wedding taking place, and the noise lasted all night.
The room was freezing, and despite raising the issue, the staff did very little to help. We felt deceived until we finally got assistance from an Italian speaker. There was no fridge in the room, so guests were forced to use a tiny communal fridge, where hotel also store a water bottle for the guest. To make things worse, the hotel even stopped providing water bottles on our last day.
It felt like the hotel was trying to save every penny at the expense of guest comfort. Despite paying to stay there, we were left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. I hope no one else has to deal with such a disappointing experience.
